Please note The Forge recommends all users of the artist database carry out necessary Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check on the artist(s) before employing them. We would also advise you to check the artist(s) has Public Liability Insurance cover to the value of £5,000,000. We‘d also advise you to ask the artist for a referee.

Do you specialise in participatory projects working with children and young people? Accessed by schools and other groups in the area, The Forge‘s database has proved to be a valuable resource. To register your details please download, complete and return this application form to us. Please note that to join the database you will need to provide:

Information about your work (e.g. art form[s], content, ages of children/young people worked with)
Names and contact details of two referees who can speak with knowledge about your work. These might be from a School, Educator, Local Authority or Arts Organisation
Evidence of your most recent Enhanced CRB disclosure (which should be from within the last 3 years)
